This month we've got updates from /dev/world, IndieCade Festival, the Life / Time / Value Conference, and a video from Rachel Andrew on how to make time for yourself while working on your indie projects...

New Conference Updates

/dev/world is happening again on 29 - 31 August, 2016 over in Melbourne, Australia. It's a conference for Mac & iOS developers, organized by the Apple University Consortium and held at RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology). Early bird ticket sales close on July 25.

IndieCade Festival has been announced for 14 - 16 October in Los Angeles. IndieCade features games from independent video game developers from around the world.

LTV Conference: New to the list (but too late for the last newsletter), the "Life, Time, Value" conference is for people selling their own products - whether software, writing, videos, music or other digital products. Speakers included Rachel Andrew, Patrick McKenzie and Alex Hillman. One to watch for next year!

Call For Presentations

Business Of Software USA have opened applications for their Lightning Talks. A laser focused format of just 7 minutes and 15 slides on the topic of your choice. Applications are due 29th July, and speakers who are selected will get a free ticket to the conference.

Looking for conferences to speak at? PaperCall.io has a free email newsletter called The Weekly CFP that notifies you of conferences seeking speakers. The website has an admin platform for conferences to submit their Call For Presentations and manage speaker applications all in one place. (Big thanks to Tracy Osborn / @limedaring for the tip!)
